RoHS2 directive
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) – 2002/95 / EC with effect from 1st July 2006 is updated to RoHS2 27th May 2011. RoHS2 directive places restrictions on six hazardous substances / materials used in electronic / electrical equipment.
RoHS2 prohibits the use of:
- Lead
- Mercury
- Cadmium
- Hexavalent chromium (Chromium 6+)
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs)
- Polybrominated diphenyletherePBDE
Statement by OTV on individual plastic materials’ compliance with RoHS2 Directive by EU 2002/95 / EC can be provided upon request when ordering.
OTV has obtained statements from our suppliers, all located in the EU, that their plastic material complies with theRoHS2 Directive.
