Bending, welding and bonding
Welding
Welding is accomplished with a hot air heat gun and added material (filler wire). Extruder welding is also carried out with a filler metal which is melted.
Welding can be made in these materials:
- PVC
- PC
- PP
- PEHD500 (extruder welding)
Bonding
Bonding is made primarily where there is a desire not to make a mechanical action on the item’s appearance.
Bonding can be made in these materials:
- PVC
- PC
- Acrylic
- PETG
Bending
OTV has expertise in both cold and hot bending in high quality. The table below shows which materials can be bent and in which thickness.
